Why Lester Learning Co.?

Lester Learning Co. was created from a simple belief: learning should help students discover what they are capable of.

Through hands-on, real-world learning experiences, students are given opportunities to explore their interests, build confidence, strengthen meaningful skills, and connect what they are learning to the world around them.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Lester Learning Co. creates flexible learning experiences that meet students where they are and give them opportunities to explore, practice, create, and apply what they learn.

Meet Jamie

Hi, I’m Jamie Lester, founder of Lester Learning Co. My background is in youth development, experiential education, curriculum design, and program development. Through years of working alongside young people, families, educators, volunteers, and community partners, I’ve seen how powerful learning can be when students have opportunities to actively participate, explore, and apply what they discover.

I believe students should have opportunities to practice skills, explore their interests, solve problems, communicate their ideas, and see how what they are learning connects to the real world.

That belief is at the heart of Lester Learning Co. My goal is to create meaningful educational experiences that help young people build confidence, discover their strengths, and develop skills they can carry into whatever comes next.

My professional experience includes youth development, experiential education, curriculum and program development, agricultural education, STEM learning, volunteer development, and community-based programming. I have worked with students, families, educators, volunteers, and community partners to create and deliver educational experiences that are engaging, practical, and responsive to the needs of the learners and communities they serve.
